Well the boys are back...............back from L.A after touring and destroying through out California. It took a few tries to get down. First U Haul screwed us over..............then a quarter way down the van screams to an end and explodes............then the boys get towed back to Canada....................That same day the boys get on a plane and fly to L.A.X. Then the party started in Hollywood with mega booze at the Saddle Ranch, They really know how to treat Canadian's.
Played a bunch of shows, got to play with great bands, with hardcore players, went to an after hours dance club in hollywood and got in sh** ,Rocked out at the beach, Puked for sure at some point, Jumped over 12 garbage cans into a fence, Had a party with the cherry vally home boys. Drank way to much in hollywood, but doing it again forsure. Met some babes and great people.......... Hahaha made it back to Canada in one peice. California tour 2008 kicked ass.
As for now the boys are hard at work on 4 new killer tracks, keep your eyes open for the release. They will rock you silly.
AutoBody is a group of friends that formed almost too easily. While all band members had played together before in such bands as the progressive rock/metal group "theR.A.C.E." (theRevoltAgainstCulturalExtinction) and PoP Rock music junkies "Out of Your Mouth", it still seemed like a new experience for the guys. With Jerrod on Bass and lead vocal, Graeme on lead/rhythm guitars and Rob holding down drums the simplicity of a three piece was very appealing. Together for over two and a half years now and currently working on their debut album with as many as thirteen songs, the boys hope to tour, make a video and just generally rock people out with their brand of.....well thats where it gets interesting. "Our songs are hard to pin down, if you had to look for our album in record stores it would be either in rock or metal sections but probably both" says guitar slinger Graeme McInnis. The group describes their songwriting process as "standing in front of the drummer writing on the spot". Some riffs are writtten at home, but they all get worked into a song together. Its like all music really...it is a progression from their influences mashed together by each individual persons tastes, churning out some hard pounding rhythms heavy guitars and raw vocals with a big serving of melody. Together you are left with something that doesnt quite fit in with many other bands or genres. This may be the start of a new one.
